For Agents
Agent FAQs
Transparent answers. No hiring promise is implied.
Do I need to be licensed?
Yes, before you solicit, negotiate, or sell insurance. You must be properly licensed and appointed as required. An interest form is not a license and not an appointment.
Can I learn about opportunities while working toward a license?
Yes. You may request a conversation while you are working toward licensure. You still may not sell insurance until licensing and any required appointments are complete.
Are contracts or appointments guaranteed?
No. Carrier contracting and appointment eligibility depend on the carrier, your record, state rules, and other requirements. NCSBFC cannot promise a contract or appointment.
Are leads guaranteed?
No. Information about lead-generation systems or programs may be discussed where available. Lead volume, quality, and access are not guaranteed.
What support may be available?
Support may include onboarding, training resources, process guidance, mentorship, or recommended workflows, where available. Specific support depends on fit and on licensing, carrier, contract, state, and compliance requirements.
Can experienced agents apply?
Yes. Currently licensed, experienced producers may request a conversation. Experience does not guarantee acceptance, contracting, or a particular compensation arrangement.
Is there an income guarantee?
No. NCSBFC does not make earnings claims, commission promises, production promises, vesting promises, or “unlimited income” claims. Business outcomes vary.
